Harvey's Wine Bar?

Harvey's Wine Bar is located on the corner of Langhorne Gardens and Sandgate Road, directly underneath the Langhorne Garden Hotel which shares the same owners.

From Harvey's it's a very short walk to the Folkestone Leas which offers a pleasant walk alongside the Channel in front of elegant period buildings. In more fashionable days the long grassy area of the Leas, which extends from above Folkestone Harbour almost to Sandgate, was the province of nannies and their charges. It's still enjoyed to this day by residents who appreciate a bracing stroll. From the Leas one can take in an event at the elegant Leas Cliff Hall or perhaps an afternoon concert at the bandstand where brass bands, pop groups, and the Folkestone Youth Jazz Orchestra often perform. The Leas is also the site of seasonal festivals and art fairs.

Harvey's is also conveniently situated within walking distance of the Folkestone shopping precinct and a variety of hotels in the area. This is why you often meet visitors to Folkestone at Harvey's, drawn to the bar by its convenient location, readily available food menu, convivial atmosphere and staff, and excellent real ales. There is ample parking available, both on the street and in a nearby underground car park.
